Deployment
Erudine's Behaviour Engine is platform-neutral - it can be deployed on almost any hardware and any operating system. As a JVM (Java Virtual Machine) compliant application, the Behaviour Engine will interface with standard enterprise components including Java and .NET (through call-outs), and supports many data sources including web services, databases, and XML.
Portability was central to the development of the Erudine Behaviour Engine and it has been tested on numerous operating systems, including Windows (XP, Server), Linux (RedHat, SuSe) and Solaris.
The Behaviour Engine can be deployed in almost any kind of system. For example, as a web service, client-server architecture, or back-office system.
The knowledge model created with the authoring client encapsulates all the runtime behaviour of the application. As such, the same knowledge model can be used across the develop-test-deploy life cycle.
