Data Visualisation Tool

Visualising all the data that flows through each stage of an application can be difficult to achieve with standard tools. In most applications, it is only possible for you to visualise your input data, particularly if it originates from a database.

Data Visualisation

However, in nearly all cases this input data is subsequently manipulated and supplemented with extra information by system behaviour, creating different output data that cannot be easily visualised.

One of the central requirements of the Behaviour Engine technology during its development was an easy-to-understand format for representing data, which was robust enough to display very complex structures — conceptual graphs. These are a graphically rich data representation format that allow users to gain a better understanding of what the data looks like at every stage in your application.

Conceptual graphs, originally designed to describe natural language, offer unprecedented flexibility and allow users to visualise complex data structures easily. This flexibility enables the user to build system behaviour based not only on the value of the data but on its structure.

Erudine uses Conceptual Graphs to bridge the gap between knowledge represented within a human readable language and knowledge held within a computer.
