Erudine showcases Adaptive Information Assurance at EADS technology event

Erudine, the software specialist in legacy migration and systems development, today announced its plans for unveiling a suite of Adaptive Information Assurance software products as part of the EADS technology event on 12th - 14th January in Newport.

EADS will be publicly launching a Technology Capability Centre as part of their global network of Centres, collectively known as EADS Innovation Works, and will be promoting their capabilities in Public Large Scale Events (PuLSE). Erudine, a technology partner of EADS, will be presenting their latest product suite being jointly developed with EADS.

Martin Rice, CEO at Erudine said: “We are delighted to unveil our new product developments as part of the EADS Technology Event. We are creating a range of Adaptive Information Assurance products that are founded on our core technology Erudine’s Behaviour Engine (EBE) and leverage the work already being achieved with EADS in large-scale national critical infrastructure projects.”

The demonstrations will include:
  • Document semantic Tagging - using Behaviour to categorise documents and more accurately and flexibly link document content to an appropriate form of classification.
  • Operational Data Fusion - showing how Complex Event Processing can manage the fusion of Network Events, Physical Security, Device Information and HR into a system capable of actively detecting and preventing data loss.
  • Key Management - a mechanism for creating one-time-key availability, allowing documents and secure information to be encrypted at source according to a flexible series of rules and for one-time decryption to occur at the point of need.
  • Device Management - showing how to control events and limit the creation of secure content on removable media, limiting it to unique devices that can be physically tracked via RFID and other technologies.
“EBE is already being used as a software development toolkit by EADS across many critical areas of security - border surveillance/control, protection of sites & infrastructure, protection of transportation infrastructure & public safety at large events. The Adaptive Information Assurance proposition is founded on this technology and addresses the increasingly important role that both people and technology play in reputation risk management and the impact on business” commented Rice.

About Erudine

Erudine has introduced a radically different method of system development through its core technology, the Behaviour Engine (EBE). An enterprise-grade, integrated development environment that allows systems to be authored and evolved at a low cost and reduced risk, EBE can deliver up to 90% cost-savings, faster time to market, and true business agility.

EBE builds system behaviour in a way similar to how children learn. The developer teaches EBE, by showing it what to do situation by situation and telling it ‘why’, then correcting any exceptions. EBE gives the developer the ability to visualise and change processes quickly and safely with confidence and ensure that no new behaviour will break existing behaviour.

EBE’s unique technology automates the capture and management of existing behaviour, selection of test cases, and production and modification of software and tests when the behaviour needs to be evolved. EBE offers zero order performance that far exceeds traditional software development techniques and seamless integration with enterprise systems.

EBE has been actively used in large-scale private and public critical infrastructure projects including; complex legacy migration, adaptable security control, situational awareness and decision support, security management framework, secure assured delivery, security compliance audit, and simulated environments.
