Licensing
Erudine offers flexible and varied licence models to cater for different types of projects and level of use of the Erudine Behaviour Engine.
Licences are available under production, development, disaster recovery, and application-specific models. Prices are based on the number of CPU cores being used for system development or run-time. All licences are considered perpetual unless stated otherwise, and attract regular annual fees.
Client-server model
The underlying principle for Erudine’s pricing forms is the client-server model. Erudine’s products are comprised of client and server components, either co-resident on a single machine or distributed across a network. For development, both components are required and are licensed separately. For production, separate client licences are not needed.Support and maintenance
Licence models require separate annual maintenance and support fees. The product support fee is rated at 15% of the licence price and grants the client online and telephone support. The maintenance fee entitles the client to regular product updates and, should the client choose to pay, will begin at the end of the initial 30-day warranty period. For clients intending to use the Erudine Behaviour Engine as a toolkit to develop their own solutions and systems, application-specific licences are available.
The Erudine Behaviour Engine can even be priced on a use basis, with costs determined by system usage. For example, price can be based on the number of transactions travelling through a system or on the percentage value of transactions processed.
